Only a little "mad rad" [14 Jul 2009|11:30pm] madradhair [laura_sucks999] HI. I went to get my hair highlighted today and I wanted a honey type color put in. My hair has been dark brown for quite a while. When the lady first showed me the highlights, it was very yellow-y and brassy so she put color over it to make it a little darker (still a light brown color).... After she was done, i noticed what I wanted was just on top (mainly the roots area) and barely showed up throughout the rest of the strands of hair. I said it was fine because she told me it was like that because the bottom of my hair is pretty black (which i understood). BEFORE:::: ( now... ) ----I'm upset because you can barely tell and I spend about 100 dollars (including a nice tip) and I want it to be noticeably different. Bbbbut it is not. Is it wrong to go back after I said it was fine? I don't want my money back. I just want it to be noticeable throughout. I am not satisfied after I went home and looked at it in different lights. I don't know what the Hair Cuttery's rules are about unsatisfied clients after they leave. 1 comment|post comment

So I had this obsession with dying my hair awesome colors (purple, orange, pink, you name it, I had it), and because of the constant bleachings my hair has become a mess of fried, dry, frizzy hair. I wash my hair every other day, and every two weeks or so, I either do a deep condition, or a hot oil treatment. (It doesn't seem to help much) I haven't dyed it in about 6 months, and I'm planning on getting it cut in a few days or so. My issue is that ALL of my hair seems to be in poor condition.
